Lines and shapes
For this project, I was generally very close to my subjects to get a good shot. My point of view varied for different shots. Some I took from above, some straight on, and some from below, but all of them were horizontally shot. I kept the rule of thirds in my mind as I composed my shots. This is especially shown in the mushroom photographs. I placed the mushrooms on the left and right thirds of the frame. The photo with the shadows of the window in the library is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer's eye through the work. The shadows go from the foreground to the background along the floor.
